Phantom Aeronautics LLC is home to the popular line of Phantom Ultralights, Light Sport and Experimental Aircraft. The Phantom design has been in existence for over 20 years.

During this time over 1700 Phantoms have been produced. Phantom Aircraft are constructed from aluminum tube, fiberglass and fabric . The aircraft are extremely rugged and easy to build. The popular open cockpit Phantom X-1 and enclosed cockpit Phantom X-1E are available in quick build kits. A basic version of the Phantom X-1 is also available as a completely built Part 103 Legal Ultralight. Typical construction times for the aircraft are between 150 to 200 hours depending on options. For added safety all Phantoms are available with a Ballistic Parachute Recovery System.
